You might want to disable black subtraction for DCP profiles used within DxO PhotoLab. Have a look at Lumariver Profile Designer. Note: I'm perfectly aware of SG shooting constraints (semy glossy requiring a lot of precaution and very even lighting), but I want to have reference for very vivid colors and wide DR. Such profile that them will be used as a basis for my LUT in 3D LUT Creator.
#3d lut creator 1.5 software
Which software would you recommend to generate a good quality profile with an X-rite Color Checker SG? That surprising because when manually grading you can completely distort the color with very minimal posterization.maybe I'm doing something wrong.ģD LUT Creator also allows to load a *.icc or *.dcp profile and to use it as a basis. On paper, 3D LUT creator allows do camera calibration with various charts.but unfortunately the results are not good at all, in terms of accuracy or smoothness (lot of posterization).

In fact, DXO Photo Lab 3 allows to use different rendering profile, but that's a two-case scenario: The only way (to my knowledge) to do that is to export a *.icc or *.dcp profile from 3D LUT Creator and to use it as a color rendering profile in DxO Photo Lab 3. I want to be able to load the LUTs directly in this particular software, to avoid a painful workflow going back and forth between RAWs and TIFFs. I want to be able to tailor these LUT for different cameras, with consistent results across them.Īs for photo (which is priority for me), I mainly use DxO Photo Lab 3. I'm working on my own photo and video LUTs with 3D LUT Creator, that I will use as part of my own presets.
